Yo.
Have started working - finally - after much 'I am director' histrionics from jolly roger and a bout of hissing from the queen bitch... and what glorious joy it is. The natives are so friendly and welcoming and are really glad to see us. Not with knobs on.
This is impossible they hate us and we hate them - even those of us who are 'them' - ie Queen B and Mary- seem to be shunned by their pack. Away too long perhaps? Or is there something else to it all. It's like they're people who've been shamed or banished, but no one will talk about why. 'Them' really do not like pagan weirdo Harry... this does not look good - fuck the film, I fear for our hides...
Have finally managed to get the better of the locals, however, with nimble use of the zippo. They now think I am a magician with power over fire. The local priest wants to have me burnt for witchcraft - but his parishoners are closer to the old ways - they may try and ward off the evil eye when I pass and fear the camera for stealing their souls, but they at least treat me with appropriate awe and fear...
Send in air support - we're pinned down. Send in anything - I'll take my chances while I can. I tell you - if I survive this week, then I'll mend my sorry ways. Well some of them
Tom
